Sam Walton created what is now the largest and most successful retail company in the world. He started with a handful of discount stores in rural areas. No one believed his venture would be successful. In the last decade though, we've expanded exponentially. We now have Wal-Mart Stores, Supercenters, SAM'S Clubs and Neighborhood Markets spread across every state in America. But, we haven't just stopped domestically. We've opened stores in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, China and Korea - equaling more than 4,700 facilities. And we have more markets on the way. Each year we are challenged to meet higher expectations and each year we try to not only meet them, but exceed them.
